Major Stransky has been a law enforcement officer for the Margate Police Department since 2004. He attained his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Manhattan College in the Bronx, NY. During his tenure with the department, he has held the positions of patrol officer, bicycle officer, field training officer, motorcycle officer, Master Patrol Officer, Special Response Team member/team leader, and traffic homicide investigator. He was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and later assigned as the Traffic Unit Supervisor. Major Stransky was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in June of 2021, where he served as a Road Patrol Platoon Commander. He was promoted to the rank of Major in May of 2022. Major Stransky is a graduate of the Southern Police Institute’s 81st Command Officers Development School. Major Stransky is the currently the Commander of the Support Services Division and Road Patrol Platoons I and II.
