Attention Margate Business Owners:
All businesses in the City of Margate must renew their Local Business Tax Receipt (LBTR) by September 30th. You can conveniently renew your LBTR online. To get started, please have your renewal notice, current corporate filing from the Florida Division of Corporations (Sunbiz.org), any required State or County licenses, and
your certificate of liability insurance ready (if applicable).
Click this link or scan QR Code to create or access your profile if you haven’t done so already.
Once you select “Apply Online,” follow these steps:
- Step 1 of 7: Confirm your contact information.
- Step 2 of 7: Search for your business address.
- Step 3 of 7: Enter your most recent business information and credentials.
- Note: Select “Renewal” for the (BTR Type*).
- Step 4 of 7: Add business owner information.
- Step 5 of 7: Enter Authorized Agent details (if applicable).
- Step 6 of 7: Sign digitally.
- Step 7 of 7: Upload all necessary documents for your renewal.
After you submit your documents, please allow our department time to review your application. You will receive instructions for online payment once the review is complete.
