Customer Service

  • Provide quality customer service to customers
  • Process new accounts
  • Explain rates and fees for all utilities on customers' bills
  • Answer questions about leaks and main breaks
  • Set up payment plans and extensions
  • Collect and process utility payments
  • Process all final billing and refunds
  • Reconcile utility payments, including cash, credit cards, lockbox payments, Fiserv, and Amscot
  • Collect monies for construction meters usage
  • Work with field personnel to research any irregularities to customers' accounts
  • Edit and process utility bills (approximately 17,000 bills monthly)
  • Facilitate collection of utility-related functions including water, wastewater, stormwater, garbage, recycling, and utility tax
  • Monitor performance and contracts of vendors
  • Prepare/reconcile analytical utility billing reports

Field Staff

  • Report illegal connections
  • Investigate leaks, performs zero consumption audits and research other irregularities
