The City of Margate Parks and Recreation Department offers a wide variety of athletics leagues suitable for all ages.

Margate Youth Sports Background Checks
The City of Margate values the safety of individuals who use our parks and facilities and we take pride in our programs and commitment to the community. Consistent with this commitment, the City of Margate has established measures to ensure all Youth Sports Coaches meet a minimum standard to protect the children participating in organized recreational activities sponsored by the City of Margate and/or recognized Independent Youth Sports Associations. One of these measures is ensuring all individuals that interact with the youth participants are background checked on a yearly basis. We also ask all individuals who lead our youth participants sign a Code of Ethics for their participation. Below is our Coach's Application and Code of Ethics that must be filled out, signed and submitted to the Parks and Recreation Department via email or through your respective league/ organization.
