The Margate Catharine Young Library offers a wide variety of materials, classes, events, and services that meet the needs of the community. DVDs, videos, audiobooks, and CDs may be checked out. And, computers with internet access are available for use.
The Margate Catharine Young Library is now open for in-person visits, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Our robust schedule of live online events for all ages will continue even as library buildings open for in-person visits. These include annual events, such as this month’s Vet Fest and the StoryBook Festival, as well as a full roster of book discussions, children’s programs, performances, lectures, and interactive games. You can enjoy our Youtube channel anytime, which features librarian-led storytimes, film reviews, study tutorials, arts-and-crafts videos, and more, all free and available 24/7.
You can also continue to access the Library’s full range of online resources and eMedia, including downloadable and streaming movies, TV shows, songs, and albums; language-learning apps such as Rosetta Stone; live, online tutoring and job/career counseling; free professional/personal development classes and eBooks, eAudiobooks and eMagazines.
