Mayor Tommy Ruzzano was born and raised in Middlesex County, New Jersey. He has lived in Broward County for over 20 years and has lived in Margate since 2002. He has been married to his wife Amanda since 1998 and has 4 children, Alina, Thomas Jr., Michael and Sophia. He is a State licensed General Contractor and has been involved in building/developing for over 20 years in South Florida and is a Margate business owner. He currently serves on the following boards: Margate Community Redevelopment Agency and Northwest Focal Point Senior Center District. He enjoys spending time with his family, his church, loves animals and is a huge sports fan as well as a competitor.
