PUBLIC NOTICE OF MEETING FOR THE
STAFF TO REVIEW THE RESPONSES RECEIVED FOR
RFP 2018-016 – DISASTER DEBRIS MANAGEMENT SERVICES


You are hereby notified that the Selection and Evaluation Committee will meet in Conference Room No. 1, 3rd floor of City Hall, 5790 Margate Boulevard, Margate, FL 33063 to review and discuss the responses received for RFP 2018-016.  Additional action may include scoring the responses and ranking the firms.  The meeting will take place on the following date and time:

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 13, 2018 AT 10:00 AM

The initial portion of the Selection Committee meeting will be held in the Sunshine.  However, the meeting will be closed to the Public when the Selection Committee reviews and discusses the proposals received in accordance with State Statute, Chapter 119,  which provides that, “Sealed bids, proposals, or replies received by an agency pursuant to a competitive solicitation are exempt from s. 119.07(1) and s. 24(a), Art. I of the State Constitution until such time as the agency provides notice of an intended decision or until 30 days after opening the bids,  proposals, or final replies, whichever is earlier”.  

Any closed portion of the Selection Committee meeting will be recorded.

IF A PERSON DECIDES TO APPEAL ANY DECISION MADE BY THE ABOVE EVALUATION COMMITTEE WITH RESPECT TO ANY MATTER CONSIDERED AT SUCH MEETING, THEY WILL NEED A RECORD OF THE PROCEEDINGS, AND FOR SUCH PURPOSE, THEY MAY NEED TO ENSURE THAT A VERBATIM RECORD OF THE PROCEEDING IS MADE, WHICH RECORD INCLUDES THE TESTIMONY AND EVIDENCE UPON WHICH THE APPEAL IS TO BE MADE.  (ANYONE DESIRING A VERBATIM TRANSCRIPT SHALL HAVE THE RESPONSIBILITY, AT THEIR OWN EXPENSE, TO ARRANGE FOR THE TRANSCRIPT).
