PUBLIC NOTICECITY OF MARGATE, FLORIDACOMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM (CDBG)CONSOLIDATED ANNUAL PERFORMANCE EVALUATION REPORT CAPER42nd PROGRAM YEAR(October 1, 2016 – September 30, 2017)The City of Margate has completed its end of year Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report (CAPER) for fiscal year 2016, as required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) under 24 CFR Part 91. The CAPER assesses the City’s performance for fiscal year 2016 relative to the expenditure of funds provided by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), as well as other public and private funding sources. Per federal regulations, the FY-2016 CAPER must be submitted to HUD within 90 days of the close of the previous fiscal year.The CAPER is available for public review and comment as of December 11, 2017 through December 27, 2017, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, at the City of Margate Clerk’s Office, located at 5790 Margate Blvd., Margate, FL 33063. The FY-2016 CAPER is also available for viewing on the City website at www.margatefl.com.Written comments regarding this report may be submitted to City Manager’s Office on or before 6:00 PM, December 27, 2017. Comments can be sent to the City Manager via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or mailed to the City Manager’s Office at 5790 Margate Blvd., Margate, FL 33063. The City will advise HUD as to the substance of the comments and the City’s responses.Additionally, prior to submission to HUD, the City will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at 7:00 PM to receive comments. The Public Hearing will be held in the City Commission Chambers located at 5790 Margate Blvd., Margate, FL 33063. All interested parties are encouraged to attend and participate.
