Hosted by the City of Margate and the Margate Community Redevelopment Agency (MCRA), the Fourth of July Extravaganza is an all-day, family-friendly event with a parade, concert, and a magnificent fireworks show.
Fourth of July Parade 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
A sea of red, white, and blue will parade down Margate Boulevard eastbound from Northwest 76th Avenue to State Road 7. Awards will be given to a private business, a non-profit organization, and a Margate family. Immediately following the parade, the MCRA will provide post-parade refreshments and bounce houses. Calypso Cove Pool Party 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
The City of Margate Parks and Recreation Department will host a Fourth of July pool party at Calypso Cove, Aquatics Facility located at 6200 Royal Palm Boulevard. CLICK HERE FOR ADMISSION PRICES
Fourth of July Extravaganza 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Join us for the City’s Fourth of July Extravaganza, featuring food trucks and obstacle courses at the northwest corner of Margate Boulevard and State Road 7. Solid Brass will take the stage at 6:00 p.m., and the fireworks display will begin at 9:00 p.m.
Road closures
9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.: Eastbound lanes of Margate Boulevard from Northwest 76th Avenue to State Road 7 from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.: Margate Boulevard, from the Clock Tower to State Road 7
7:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.: State Road 7, from Atlantic Boulevard to Coconut Creek Parkway
