National Night Out is Tuesday, August 6th
The Margate Police Department is hosting its 19th Annual National Night Out Against Crime at the Margate Sports Complex, located on Banks Road between Copans Road and Coconut Creek Parkway. The National Association of Town Watch selected the City of Margate as a National Award winner for 17 of the past 18 years. National Night Out Against Crime is designed to increase crime and drug prevention awareness; generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs; strengthen neighborhood spirit and police community partnerships; and to send a message to criminals, letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back against crime.
Bring your family and friends to learn about the various services provided by the Margate Police Department and other local, state and federal agencies. Guests will enjoy free hot dogs, popcorn, snow cones, refreshments and bounce houses for families and kids of all ages. Enjoy music and entertainment on stage presented by LZ Events. The Home Depot will have a children’s work shop on site. Penn Dutch Meats will be providing the hot dogs!
