Free Movie Night featuring Paddington 2

Free Movie Night Saturday, Dec. 1st

This Saturday! Pack your blankets, picnic baskets and lawn chairs and come out for a free movie in the park with your family, friends, and neighbors. Movies in the Park takes place on Saturday, December 1st at the Margate Sports Complex, 1695 Banks Road, starting at 6 p.m. Concessions will be available for purchase.

Paddington 2 (rated PG) is the featured movie this month. The story continues with Paddington happily settled in with the Brown family in Windsor Gardens. While searching for the perfect present for his beloved Aunt Lucy, Paddington spots a unique pop-up book in Mr. Gruber's antique shop and embarks upon a series of odd jobs to buy it. But, when the book is stolen, it's up to Paddington and the Browns to unmask the thief.

After a long week, why not dance the night away under the stars? Join us this Saturday, December 1st for Sounds at Sundown at the corner of Margate Boulevard and State Road 7. The event begins at 5 p.m. and the band will take the stage at 6 p.m.

Rock, pop and reggae music will fill the air as 30 Hertz plays a variety of popular songs. Food trucks will serve up delicious meals, snacks, and desserts. Bark for Life Festival and Walk This Saturday, Dec. 1st

 The American Cancer Society Bark for Life event will take place on Saturday, December 1st from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the corner of Margate Boulevard and State Road 7. 

This event is a festival and walk for dogs and their owners to raise funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society's fight against cancer. By supporting Bark for Life, you help the American Cancer Society save lives, and that helps us move closer to our ultimate goal of a world with less cancer and more birthdays. So bring your best canine friend and join us for a fun-filled day starting with demonstrations, contests, and games.
Come to celebrate with cancer survivors and their canine companions as well as canine cancer survivors and their loving owners. We will honor those who have lost the battle with cancer, both human and canine.
