The new ProjectDox portal enables you to submit an online application request to Building, Engineering or Development Services departments for project permits, plan approvals, waivers and reviews within the City of Margate. Projects will be submitted, reviewed and approved electronically.

Submission of all online applications and requests requires an applicant to complete an online form, upload plans and documents which will be reviewed and approval electronically, and finally, upon approval of plans, pay any applicable permit fees. Upon submission of an online form, you will be notified via email of each task required thereafter or you can log in to your account and select “Manage/View Existing Projects”.
Once you have completed the online submission process, including uploading all applicable required documents, City Staff will begin the pre-screening process. The initial request may take from 1 to 3 business days for pre-screening. Once the pre-screening is complete, you will be notified via email and your plans will be assigned for review. Please note, an incomplete submission will delay the pre-screening of your submittal and increase the review time for your project.
To track the progress on a project, please log-in and select “Manage/View Existing Projects”. By searching the project list, you will be able to locate the desired project to view comments and/or review status(es) of each discipline. To re-submit revised plan pages or other documents, an applicant must receive a task from the ePlan Review Permitting System.
