Prescription Drug Take Back

DEA National Prescription Take Back Day 2018

On Saturday, October 27th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. bring your unused or unwanted prescription medications to Walgreens, 3000 N. State Road 7 for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. 

In partnership with the Drug Enforcement Agency, the Margate Police Department will be collecting unused, expired or unwanted medications for safe disposal. Participants may dispose of medication in its original container with the prescription label removed. 

Acceptable medications include: Prescription and over-the-counter medications, vitamins, and pet medicine. 

This event allows residents to turn in unwanted and potentially addictive drugs with no questions asked.
